It has been a long, cold snowy winter for sure! Great for winter activities like ice fishing, skiing and snow shoeing, the snow is also desirable for the refill of Goose Pond!

With Spring around the corner, it’s time to remind members that Goose Pond will begin refilling to return the lake to summer levels on or around

MARCH 15TH, 2026

While ice might not be off the lake yet, in order to meet our permit requirements and refill Goose Pond back to those summer lake levels, the outlet pipe will be reduced, and the pond will retain run-off and snow melt. Please use caution as the lake level rises.

This District assumes NO responsibility to damage caused by ice to properties or infrastructure.
